Start Installation

×Warning ! BACKUP BEFORE DOING ANYTHING WITH THIS TEMPLATE
×If your Zen Cart Installation is New/Fresh Install you can skip the figure below and proceed to Upload

1.) includes/functions/html_output.php

Use software like WinMerge or any other relative software that capable to compare and merge one file to another. Here are the list of modified function :

  • function zenCssButton
  • function zen_draw_input_field
  • function zen_draw_selection_field
  • function zen_draw_textarea_field
  • function zen_draw_pull_down_menu

2.) includes/modules/pages/specials/main_template_vars.php

Use software like WinMerge or any other relative software that capable to compare and merge one file to another.

3.) Upload via FTP

Open "UPLOAD" folder and upload "images" and "includes" folder via FTP to your sites directory.

Don't Forget to Upload the .htaccess file or the custom font and icon font will be missing

4.) Upload the Admin Language File

Rename "YOUR_ADMIN" folder to your current admin directory name and Upload it via FTP. If you are using Zen Cart 1.3.9 leave this step, go to step 5

5.) Install the template customizer

Then login to your Admin Page, Go to Tools -> Install SQL Patches and Find the correct version of exodus_install.sql on "SQL_FILES" folder and upload it from Zen Cart admin.

If you already install this themes and want to update. Use exodus_update[version number].sql

Configuration

Template Customization

Go to Configuration -> Genesis Themes Configuration. You will find everything you need to customize the template there, such as Color, Background Pattern, Social Account and Link, Footer Widget, etc. It's easy to understand and use

Image Setting

This is optional setting for the Image Size(Configuration->Images)

This is the three small banner below big slider setting(Tools->Banner Manager)

Configure Slideshow

Login To Admin Page

Modify the Main Page Slideshow from Admin -> Tools -> Define Pages Editor. Select define_main_page.php and edit it with Plain Text
